While many of the recipes were great and very delicious; I bought this book because all i had was a microwave and while i know thats not a typical case, I was frustrated by the number of recipes in which pasta/rice was an ingredient and Burkhard's recipes asked for precooked pasta or instructed cooks to use a burner and not a microwave.
